McDonald's Supports World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Earth Hour
March 27, 2009
As part of McDonald’s ongoing commitment to being environmentally sustainable and energy efficient, McDonald’s restaurants around the world will be supporting Earth Hour. These local initiatives give us the opportunity to engage our customers and our employees around the benefits of energy conservation and the impact it can have on reducing climate change.
Here are some highlights of McDonald’s participation:

McDonald’s UK will also run a countdown timer to Earth Hour on the big advertising sign at Piccadilly Circus in the centre of London, which will then be switched off for the hour.
